Day 2 : An Elaboration

Ok my second day playing here. I guess I should elaborate more about Neopets. Well, I think that it's really creative and addictive. I've even started reading the Neopets-related communities on LJ! Meanwhile, I found out that my friend TCL still plays Neopets religiously (well, his last sign on was just yesterday!) so I sent him a Neomail. I don't know why but we lost contact with each other. I hope he's not avoiding me...

And I found yet another friend in Neopia - haha. It's Eugene! So hard to believe that a "macho" guy like him wants to go back to neopetting. I guess working the night shift can be lonely, and it's nice to have a game to play while you're waiting for the phone to ring. :P Anyway, he's a crappy player la... he asked me for 10,000 Nps to get started. Desperate as I am to have a Neopian pal, I gave it to him (it didn't even make a dent on my account...). That was two days ago. Yesterday he wanted to train his pet and was looking for codestones. Crapppp... he asked me for one. I asked him to use the 10K to buy a codestone instead of asking me for one... I forgot his excuse. But anyway I wanna train my pet this year too, so I really do NOT want to give him my codestones! :P

Well, I really want more neofriends though, so that we can squeal over similar stuff together. Been reading Neopian Adults religiously and I'm real tempted to join. Some of these people are even more obsessed than I am, they spend actual $$ on "TCG codes" to get rarer items... foooh. I also don't know if I would ever consider doing that, if I lived overseas. ;)

+ got a Tangy Tigersquash omelette from Giant Omelette! Omg, a good day so far! It's only worth above 500Np, but this is one of the more expensive omelettes I've gotten so far!

+ gained 1 level through Coltzan's shrine
+ got Pumpkin Cookies @ Test Your Strength (quite worth it, they are going for 150Np+ and it costs 100Np for Test Your Strength)
+ got Rotting Driftwood during the Underwater Fishing
+ got the Lava Ghoul at Wheel of Excitement. :(
+ got 50Np at Wheel of Mediocrity (evens out)
+ argh!! Got Neowarts on the Wheel of Misfortune! Not gonna play this anymore. >=(

+ got 15hp from the Healing Fairie. Nooo... heal my neowart-y poogle! :(
+ got a Yellow Wocky Keyring from the Snowager. ;)
+ got the Wheel of Monotony avatar... blehk. Not an avvie person, although listening to people talk about it makes me feel like chasing avvies. :)~~~

Taelia gives you a Shell Lollypop, a magical snowball, and 1899 Neopoints!!!
Shell Lollypop is worth around 4000Np. This semi-makes-up for yesterday's $hit.
